Does Religiousness Matter to Intention to Commit Digital Piracy?

Abstract The study aims to examine digital piracy using the Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB), religious theory, and deterrence theory by adding economic hedonic benefits. This used a non-probability sampling technique. questionnaire was distributed through an online platform obtained from 214 respondents. data acquired respondents SPSS 23 AMOSS 21 process Structural Equation Model (SEM). shows that attitude toward perceived behavioral control positively influence consumer intention commit piracy. results also reveal is influenced benefit negatively extrinsic religiousness. According this study, government film industry must change way Indonesian consumers perceive so number piracies in Indonesia can decrease.
